Humanist Weddings

To be a part of a couple's wedding is an incredible privilege. My aim is to create a ceremony for you that is authentic, unique and a true reflection of your personalities. Whether you would prefer the ceremony to be full of fun and laughter or be more traditional in its formal elegance, I will work closely with you to create a ceremony that is perfect for you while keeping the process stress-free. I am based near Glasgow and, over the years, have specialised in travelling widely around the mainland, highlands and the islands to provide bespoke ceremonies. Whether in a classic venue or if you are planning something out of the ordinary, perhaps even in the mountains or on the water, I am absolutely the Celebrant for you.

What is a Humanist Wedding?

A tailor-made humanist ceremony for your wedding day; created with you and for you! A wedding ceremony can be a legal marriage, a betrothal or a vow renewal depending on your individual wishes.

We will guide you through any legal process and offer ideas and options to help create the perfect ceremony for you and your guests to truly enjoy.

Our Story

Hi, I'm Drew. I've been a Celebrant since 2014 and have enjoyed every moment of creating and delivering hundreds of ceremonies, no two ever the same!

I live in Renfrewshire with my wife and two young children and can be found at lunchtime each day in the freezing water of our local loch with a few trusty friends. I was a climber before having kids, love being immersed in the outdoors and find great solitude running mountain trails with my dog, Harvey.

I balance Celebrancy with a career as a senior psychological therapist and inventor of a novel technology for NASA to support the health of astronauts in the upcoming missions back to the Moon and eventually, to Mars (the Artemis programme).
